it's all so murky.

I've only been here a couple of days so certainly haven't even begun to experience any real part of this great city, but I've been thinking that everything here just seems to be a little bit 'soft'. i have yet to see anything bright or sharp or crisp. i have not seen any fountains with crystal clear water reflecting the light. what i have seen are loads and loads of trees trying to scrub the air of the giant grey cloud that covers the area. i keep thinking that at some point the veil will be lifted....but I'm not sure that's going to happen.

either way, i'll be walking around with my eyes wide open ready to soak it all in.

well, here goes. I'm a pretty rotten writer, but I'm here to keep you up to date on my Beijing experience.

...for those that don't know already, I'll be working on a film that will have me in China for at least 9 months. I've been pretty lucky to work on some great projects and meet some incredibly talented people but this is a whole new adventure for me! Sadly, you won't hear much (if anything) about the film here....I signed a pretty hard core non-disclosure agreement. Not to worry...I suspect that there'll be plenty of shenanigans to write about that you'll be checking in regularly and begging for more! HA.
